Recently, we explored the diverse paths into Customer Success, and the insights are inspiring!

We heard from our StratApps 𝗖𝗦 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 members about their transitions into the CS domain, and here's a quick look at where they came from:

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀
1. Customer Service / Technical Support: 52%
2. Sales / Business Development / Account Management: 36%
3. Project / Product Management: 9%

This really shows the power of 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀!

Many of us highlighted 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 in our transition:
1. Leveraging existing customer-facing skills.
2. Continuous learning (shoutout to LinkedIn Learning, CustomerSuccessU, and ankitify.com).
3. Mentorship and networking.
4. Demonstrating confidence and real-world examples during interviews.

Our stories prove that no matter our background, a career in CS is within reach with dedication and the right approach.
